Over Look WIP02 by ZombieHun Over Look WIP02 by ZombieHun
a close up of how in depth I work. I am posting rare pics of my art work ethic because when you see a finished scanned version of my colored work, you really don't get to see the full magnitude of colors. However, I'm sure a better camera woulda have helped more, but I work with what I've got

the piece i'm working on is 11X15" on thick water color paper
just so you know, i'm not using just one set of colors. I'm using lots and lots of different marker hues and many layers of multiple mediums. so yeah, this looks overwhelming because it is.

This colours are amazing..
I'm actually trying to colour my
linearts, but I never get such great colours like you do.
I guess it needs years of practice and a lot of talent to get such
stunning results.
May I ask you If you are using coloured pencils or some kind of pens?

Do wish an outfit for male or female and is it a warrior, a dancer or a combination of the two?

Wow, that's looking awesome so far <3 I'm sure it's probably ballpoint, but I can't really tell so; do you use a pen and ink pen /totallyunawareofthetechnicalname, or microns and stuff like that? O:

i dont use ballpoint pens as those aren't guaranteed to be water proof. all my makers and pens are water proof quality so I turn to the micron brand and sometimes the fabercastel brand for my pens and i just use Prisma for my markers because they're cheaper and I seriously doubt copic will make the world of difference for me seeing as I use markers as a support medium and not a main medium.

Ah, okay :'D I think India ink is waterproof in general, since Microns/Sakura uses it, but I'd have to double check. I'm not sure about the Speedball ink I have either, but I do know that it's bled a few times on me. More for painting while it's still wet and not after it's dried though, I think. I loved my prismamarkers with I had them, though I lost quite a couple and a few of them stopped working because I used them over waxy coats of pencils and it clogged up I guess. xD; I liked them a lot though, they're like watercolor without the wait. I really need to save up and get myself a set instead of buying them individually D: $4 a marker adds up quickly when you're shopping, after all OTL

I buy a themed set and then build around it for my main color pallet...and if I feel like treating myself I'll deviate and get a new set of colors (like four shades of pink)

Good idea, I'd really like to get the skin tones at some point so I can use it with my watercolors of people. People tones are so hard to blend and make with watercolor D: Until then, I use my art class's markers, because last year I discovered last year that they have a good number of Prismamarkers. >:3
